Remember the UNFAIR Movie shown on April 3rd at Matt Ross Community Center? The story of IRS abuse and mismanagement is frightening.
Remember the message from Secretary of State Kris Kobach on April 22nd at JCCC? The Supreme Court ruling that Obamacare is a tax is more frightening.
You are concerned and so are we.
This is the subject of our Q & A meeting on May 14 at 6:30 pm
The session will be led by Earl Long and John Collet
We could be free from the problems created by our Income Tax, used by the Government to:
On April 23rd a towering Grand Slam Home Run was knocked out of the park at Johnson County Community College! Secretary of State Kris Kobach was the Kansas hero wielding the bat.
Secretary Kobach delivered an epic message: The U. S. Constitution is being shredded to bits by evil government forces using the Income Tax to steal from Americans many of the God-given rights enshrined in our Constitution. America must now put a stop to this corruption.
Obamacare was rejected by the Supreme Court as being unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause. However, Justice Roberts added an opinion that its insurance purchase mandate is still constitutional because it can be interpreted as a tax! That blew a gigantic hole right through the Constitutional wall originally established to protect Americans from corrupt federal government overreach.
If America is to remain the nation envisioned by our founding fathers, the Income Tax must be repealed by passing HJR104 and replacing it by enacting the FairTax Act (HR25/S122). Our 50 sovereign American states must be the nation's incubators of democracy. And now, Kansas could be the very first state having a state income tax to subsequently repeal it.
The "play it safe" Kansas Legislature missed a rare golden opportunity last session by failing to hold a hearing on HB2625, the Kansas FairTax Act, introduced by Representative John Rubin.
At the April 23rd JCCC Tax Freedom Day event, Randall Phalp preceded Kris Kobach with a truly exceptional slide and video presentation about the principles of the FairTax, comparing it favorably against the flawed present tax system and other tax reform proposals.
The audience of young and mature people was greatly rewarded by hearing two very uplifting and motivational presentations, and reacted with standing ovations for both speakers.
We will continue to provide these fantastic opportunities for education with modest financial support. No amount is too small, every dollar helps. Please donate via credit/debit card. Checks, money orders and cash donations are also welcome. You can send your check or money order made out to FairTax Kansas, P. O. Box 67551, Topeka, Kansas, 66667.
The Income Tax is virtual slavery. The FairTax is the magic key that will unloose our shackles and open the door to true liberty. Repealing the 16th Amendment will complete the unstoppable cycle to free the American Taxpayer once and for all.
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, one of America’s pre-eminent Constitutional scholars, will make the case on April 22nd that adopting the FairTax will perfectly match the original vision held by our founding fathers, that being a “…government instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Please join us to hear Secretary Kobach and other notables at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 22nd, in the Craig Community Auditorium of Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66210-1299.
Hosting the evening’s event will be the College Republican Club, AMAC (The Association of Mature Americans), Political CHIPS, and FairTaxKC.
Register soon – Seating will be limited. Confirm your intent to attend by registering yourself plus up to two additional guests.
On April 3rd, FairTaxKC was honored to host a pre-screening of the new documentary, UNFAIR: The Movie. Attendance was tremendous, a big THANK YOU to those that came, and those that didn't, we missed you! More than 120 concerned citizens came out on short notice to view the movie, and 100% of viewers who completed our questionnaire agreed that our nation's current tax system is UNFAIR, the IRS to abusing its authority, and we must have major tax reform in the next session of Congress.
We have yet another great event planned; please mark your calendar for 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 22, to meet us at the Johnson County Community College in the Craig Community Auditorium (GEB Building, room 233) where we will share with you the valuable feedback we received from our last event.
In addition, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, our keynote speaker, will present the case that the FairTax is the most constitutionally-sound solution for our nation's tax policy. The FairTax Kansas presentation will emphasize the positive affects the FairTax has for both the youth and our seniors. Register here.
We need your help to energize an active campaign to grow FairTax activists, supporters and voters to elect politicians that share our vision for our country's future.

On April 3rd, FairTaxKC was honored to host a pre-screening of the new documentary, UNFAIR: The Movie. With less than a week to prepare for the screening, attendance was tremendous! More than 120 concerned citizens came out on short notice to view the movie, and more than 65% of viewers completed our viewer’s response questionnaire.
Of those that completed to survey, 100% of respondents indicated that they believe our nation’s current tax policy is UNFAIR. 100% percent of viewers completing the survey also indicated that the movie well documents abuses of authority and power by the IRS and furthermore 100% believe that we need major tax reform.
There was a sense of urgency reflected by the 98% who believed that major tax reform must be a priority of the next session of Congress. 79% were convinced that the FairTax was the best solution and those that were unsure wanted more information.
The survey results indicate that, for the first time in more than a decade working in support of the FairTax, the ground is fertile for the FairTax. We must now go about the hard work of breaking that ground and planting the seeds that will yield to us meaningful tax reform and a revived economy. We must begin an active campaign to grow FairTax activists and supporters.
Our next event is 6:30 Tuesday, April 22 at Johnson County Community College in the Little Theater (GEB Building, room 233). The 21st is nationwide Tax Freedom Day, and we will present a primer on the FairTax, with emphasis on the impact of the FairTax on both the youth and our seniors. Keynoting the event is Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who will make the case for the FairTax as the most constitutionally-sound solution for our nation’s tax policy.
Our event on the 22nd is co-sponsored by JCCC.edu College Republicans and the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC). Seating is limited. If you plan to attend, please RSVP at: www.fairtaxkc.org on our "Contact Us" tab.
Of course, we cannot accomplish any of this without your active support. We need funds to host events and interact with the community. On behalf of the board of directors, thank you once again for your interest and active support of FairTaxKC.org!!
We witnessed a great movie Thursday night at the Matt Ross community Center.
About a hundred people were privileged to see the pre-release screening of the new movie UNFAIR. It was not just about the evil Income Tax system destroying the American Free Enterprise system, it's also about the BIG government encroachment on our God Given rights to pursuing our own lives without so called guarantees from the government, that never seem to materialize.
The story told and produced by two ordinary guys from IOWA will be going viral across American in the next few months. Don't miss it. It will educate you like no other political message we have seen in years.
It's not about Republicans vs Democrats but rather about the leadership of both Political parties using the Income Tax system to keep the parties well-funded for the next election.
The interviews with victims of the IRS, and the coordinated government attacks on ordinary citizens is frightening because you can see clearly there is no group, or segment or class of the population immune to this kind of government abuse.
